INSTEON, creators of the world’s premiere home automation and control technology, today announced that its connected home products are now available in select RadioShack stores across the United States and online at radioshack.com.
RadioShack recently opened 85 new Interactive Remodel locations across the country in markets such as San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C. These stores feature innovative new products and interactive displays, including a wall dedicated to home automation.
“We are proud to add the INSTEON assortment of products to our home automation offering,” said Paul Rutenis, chief merchandising officer at RadioShack. “By teaming up with INSTEON, we’re adding even more home automation options to our rejuvenated product mix, ensuring our customers have access to the latest, most-trusted connected home devices on the market.”
Providing optimum flexibility and control in setting up a connected home, INSTEON’s 200-plus products rely on the company’s wireless, dual-band technology, which takes advantage of both the existing power lines and the airwaves through the home for the most-reliable communication. No matter how remote a device or fixture, whether it’s inside or outside the home, INSTEON signals will reach it.
“We appreciate RadioShack’s longtime dedication to service and expertise in the electronics retail industry and believe their customers will be excited about our INSTEON products,” said Joe Dada, CEO, INSTEON. “We look forward to helping keep RadioShack customers at the forefront of home automation technology.”
The INSTEON product offering at RadioShack includes items such as the wireless motion sensor ($34.99), the dimmer module ($49.99) and the door and window sensor ($34.99), as well as packages like the starter kit ($119.99) and the connector kit ($379.99).
With its simple installation, setup process and trustworthy communication, INSTEON has become the industry’s premier remote control networking technology. Plug-in modules and in-wall switches make it possible to add wireless control to any appliance in a home or business without having to hire a contractor. By enabling every networked device to communicate via radio frequencies and existing electrical wiring, INSTEON eliminates the need for custom wiring and ensures that every device is always connected.
Most recently, INSTEON announced availability of its energy-efficient LED Bulb for Recessed Lights, which sells for $49.99. For more information or to learn more about INSTEON’s full range of connected home products, visit www.insteon.com or www.radioshack.com.
