AnalytixInsight Launches StockWall-the Next Generation Market Data App-for Samsung Devices

Real-time share prices and analysis of global stocks on Smartphone, Tablet, Smart TV, Gear 2 and Gear Fit

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/30/14 -- Big Data and analytics company AnalytixInsight, Inc. (the "Company" or "AnalytixInsight") (TSX VENTURE: ALY) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Stockwall ("Stockwall"), The London Stock Exchange Group and Samsung Electronics, presented the innovative financial app - StockWall - at a launch event on the floor of the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan. This is the first of a planned global, country by country rollout. The app will be available in June on Samsung smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, and - as a first with finance applications - on Gear 2 and Gear Fit. In the meantime, users can trial this next generation market data platform by visiting StockWall at www.stock-wall.com.

The app, downloadable from the Samsung Apps store, allows users to view real-time stock prices, information, research and analysis from more than 20 major world stock markets. Users can also access additional content like Thomson Financial News, relevant videos, as well as advanced services like portfolio analysis. The application also integrates and presents CapitalCube's algorithmically generated content and fundamental analysis, carried out daily on more than 50,000 listed companies across the globe.

"The launch of Stockwall marks a quantum leap forward in communicating financial data in real time. Designed specifically to maximize the potential offered by new display devices, StockWall, combines breadth of data with high visual impact, and provides a functional approach to a growing number of investors about international equity markets," said Luca Filippa, CEO of BIt Market Services ("BIMS"), part of the London Stock Exchange Group.

"We know that users attach great importance to the usability of an app and for this reason we decided to create something that would go beyond what exists today - something that is not only beautiful, but also extremely helpful in suggesting the best investment opportunities on a global scale. With StockWall we now have a unique tool to uncover real hidden opportunities in the global financial markets and stay informed at all times through multiple devices," said Mark Roscio Ricon, CEO of Stockwall. "In addition, the Stockwall platform also provides B2B (business-to business) opportunities to license content to third-party mobile applications. We already see many exciting opportunities with institutional customers in Europe to license our mobile solutions."

"The boundary line between the business and consumer world is getting thinner and, to really improve the lives of people, the same technology should make both their personal and professional lives easier, pleasant and efficient," said Antonio Bosio, Product & Solutions Director at Samsung. "By partnering with BIMS and Stockwall, anyone who works in the finance world or anyone who simply likes to be informed about what's happening in the stock market today, finally have not just one single device but an entire ecosystem of products with innovative and interactive content: in the living room of their home, while traveling or even on their wrist."

The true value of the Internet of Things (IoT) lies not just in the data, but through the services that protect the data, perform the analysis and present findings in a usable way. With many IoT elements rooted in traditional IT components, Big Data and IoT isn’t just a play for enterprise. In fact, the IoT presents SMBs with the prospect of launching entirely new activities and exploring innovative areas. CompTIA research identifies several areas where IoT is expected to have the greatest impac...
There is little doubt that Big Data solutions will have an increasing role in the Enterprise IT mainstream over time. 8th International Big Data Expo, co-located with 17th International Cloud Expo - to be held November 3-5, 2015, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA - has announced its Call for Papers is open. The Industrial Internet revolution is now underway, enabled by connected machines and billions of devices that communicate and collaborate. The massive amounts of Big Data requiring real-time analysis is flooding legacy IT systems and giving way to cloud environments that can handle the unpredictable workloads. Yet many barriers remain until we can fully realize the opportunities and benefits from the convergence of machines and devices with Big Data and the cloud, including interoperability, ...
You use an agile process; your goal is to make your organization more agile. But what about your data infrastructure? The truth is, today's databases are anything but agile - they are effectively static repositories that are cumbersome to work with, difficult to change, and cannot keep pace with application demands. Performance suffers as a result, and it takes far longer than it should to deliver new features and capabilities needed to make your organization competitive. As your application an...

Amazon and Google have built software-defined data centers (SDDCs) that deliver massively scalable services with great efficiency. Yet, building SDDCs has proven to be a near impossibility for companies without hyper-scale resources. In his session at 15th Cloud Expo, David Cauthron, CTO and Founder of NIMBOXX, highlighted how a mid-sized manufacturer of global industrial equipment bridged the gap from virtualization to software-defined services, streamlining operations and costs while connect...
The Internet of Things is tied together with a thin strand that is known as time. Coincidentally, at the core of nearly all data analytics is a timestamp. When working with time series data there are a few core principles that everyone should consider, especially across datasets where time is the common boundary. In his session at Internet of @ThingsExpo, Jim Scott, Director of Enterprise Strategy & Architecture at MapR Technologies, discussed single-value, geo-spatial, and log time series dat...
The Internet of Things is not only adding billions of sensors and billions of terabytes to the Internet. It is also forcing a fundamental change in the way we envision Information Technology. For the first time, more data is being created by devices at the edge of the Internet rather than from centralized systems. What does this mean for today's IT professional? In this Power Panel at @ThingsExpo, moderated by Conference Chair Roger Strukhoff, panelists will addresses this very serious issue o...
All major researchers estimate there will be tens of billions devices - computers, smartphones, tablets, and sensors - connected to the Internet by 2020. This number will continue to grow at a rapid pace for the next several decades. The Internet of Things is a misnomer. That implies that everything is on the Internet, and that simply should not be - especially for things that are blurring the line between medical devices that stimulate like a pacemaker and quantified self-sensors like a pedometer or pulse tracker. The mesh of things that we manage must be segmented into zones of trust for sensing data, transmitting data, receiving command and control administrative changes, and peer-to-peer mesh messaging. In his session a...

The OpenStack cloud operating system includes Trove, a database abstraction layer. Rather than applications connecting directly to a specific type of database, they connect to Trove, which in turn connects to one or more specific databases. One target database is Postgres Plus Cloud Database, which includes its own RESTful API. Trove was originally developed around MySQL, whose interfaces are significantly less complicated than those of the Postgres cloud database. In his session at 16th Cloud...
