SherWeb Introduces SkyOffice 2013 Suite Powered by Microsoft Exchange

Hosting provider’s customer satisfaction metric hits industry record

SherWeb has introduced its SkyOffice 2013 suite powered by Microsoft Exchange. SherWeb now offers Hosted Exchange 2013, Hosted SharePoint 2013, Hosted Lync 2013 and SkyNox 2013 (online backup & recovery) in a flexible and comprehensive enterprise-grade communications and collaboration solution.

The announcement will come as welcome news to the growing number of customer and partner organizations looking for a cloud-based solution that goes beyond simple email to include real-time communication and collaboration, such as IM, video conferencing, simultaneous editing of documents and more. All of these features are in a familiar interface that end-users can immediately use with little to no learning curve.

While SkyOffice shares some of the same base functionality as Office 365, its value proposition goes well beyond Microsoft's hosted entry-level platform. SkyOffice customers benefit from SherWeb's financially-backed 99.999% uptime SLA and SOC 2 Type II-certified security, along with migration and onboarding services at no cost, from any environment.

SherWeb also offers free 24/7/365 "no-question-is-too-small" technical support to all SMB and Enterprise clients, regardless of plan or account size. Response time on support calls averages 40 seconds. SkyOffice plans are competitively priced and have no minimum or maximum seat caps. Client organizations are also free to mix-and-match plans among their employees with no contracts or commitments.

"SherWeb provides a customer support experience I've never encountered with other vendors. Anyone can sell hosted Microsoft products; the key is to provide outstanding support," says B. Travis Wright, Technology Services Department Head at Workforce Insight Inc., a Denver-based workforce management consulting company. "Small business and enterprise customers aren't a number that can be given one-size-fits-all support; SherWeb's team cares and goes the extra mile to personalize the support experience and cater to all technical abilities. Even though SherWeb has more than 25,000 customers, it feels as if they were waiting just for your call."

"We take value-added services seriously because we know this is what matters to our customers and partners," says Rima Hatoum, Hosted Exchange Product Manager at SherWeb. "One of the ways we measure customer satisfaction is through the continuous benchmarking of our NP (Net Promoter) Score. Our score is currently 70, the highest in the industry. The availability and quality of our services allows us to bring customers and partners a reliable business email solution they can trust and give them a post-sales experience that can't be beat."

Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...

The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regu...

Enterprises are striving to become digital businesses for differentiated innovation and customer-centricity. Traditionally, they focused on digitizing processes and paper workflow. To be a disruptor and compete against new players, they need to gain insight into business data and innovate at scale. Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.
