Computacenter Honoured with NetApp Star Partner Award for 2013

Partner acknowledgment for 50% revenue growth and key customer wins

3rd June 2013 - Computacenter, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services today announces that it has received 'Outstanding Achievement - Star Partner' at the NetApp 2013 UK&I Partner Awards. The award recognises the company's commitment to NetApp's technologies and the success it has achieved with FlexPod as part of its VDI platform. This has helped to secure 50% annual growth of Computacenter's NetApp business throughout 2012.

Neil Eke, Solutions Group - Director, Datacenter & Storage at Computacenter comments, "We are extremely pleased to be recognised as the outstanding Star Partner of 2013 by NetApp. This is a great endorsement of how we are successfully delivering business outcomes for our customers through our storage expertise. Growing annual revenue is always pleasing and to do so by 50% in the current economic and IT landscape with some high profile enterprise customers marks a truly successful year for all involved."

Computacenter has invested significant time and resources in enabling its consultants to be multi-skilled in NetApp and complementary technologies. As a result, Computacenter has become the most accredited, certified NetApp partner in the UK, meaning improved business benefits and reduced costs for its customers.

Dave Allen, VP & GM Northern EMEA and MD UK at NetApp stated, "We would like to pass on our congratulations to Computacenter on winning the Star Partner Award. It is a highly competitive category, but this recognition highlights just how successful the Computacenter and NetApp partnership has been over the last year with some great client wins.

"Further to this, I see more of the Computacenter team now understanding the NetApp value proposition and using it to win large new clients and projects from infrastructure to managed services. Computacenter now has the accreditations to deliver a broader range of NetApp services and we look forward to the coming year!"
