Tylr Mobile Launches WorkinBox at DEMO Mobile 2013

New Mobile Email Inbox for Salespeople, Connected to Salesforce.com CRM

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - April 17, 2013) -  DEMO Mobile --

Tylr Mobile today announced WorkinBox, a new mobile email inbox for salespeople connected to salesforce.com.  WorkinBox is launching in beta at DEMO Mobile 2013, an event highlighting the best new mobile technologies, based on design, innovation and market potential.

WorkinBox makes salespeople more responsive and productive by bringing together email and CRM. Salespeople can sort their inbox by opportunity size, and access the information and files they need to resolve customer questions. They can turn messages into actionable tasks, and update salesforce.com as they work. This solves a pain point for enterprise sales teams, who spend $12 billion a year on CRM systems that don't get used, especially on the go.

Tylr Mobile will be giving a live demonstration of WorkinBox on the DEMO Mobile 2013 stage on the morning of April 17.  Screenshots and video are available at WorkinBox.com, where sales teams using salesforce.com and iPhones can learn more and sign up for the WorkinBox beta program.

Highlights:

  • iPhone app that supports how salespeople really work on the go by bringing their email from any imap-accessible email service into a mobile inbox focused on getting work done
  • Connected to salesforce.com to help salespeople prioritize emails from customers and prospects, focus on important opportunities, access relevant customer information, and give the entire team better transparency into the quarter.
  • Built on a secure mobile work platform that is flexible enough to handle the unique sales processes at different companies, and easy for IT to configure, deploy, and manage.

Quotes

  • Bill Binch,  Senior VP Sales, Marketo: "My team earns the business of our customers by being responsive, no matter when or where they're working.  Bringing CRM into their mobile inbox will make my team more effective, and give me better transparency into my business."
  • Alan Lepofsky, VP and Principal Analyst for Collaboration Software at Constellation Research: "Sales professionals rely heavily on email to engage with prospects, yet there's critical information about these prospects in a separate CRM system. Switching context between the two is cumbersome, especially on a mobile device.  If a single app could bring those two worlds together, providing instant access to the information and actions needed to win a deal, companies will be lining up to use it."
  • Erick Schonfeld, executive producer, DEMO Mobile: "Enterprises are rethinking what it means to arm a mobile workforce. To help, WorkinBox is rethinking the email experience for mobile workers, starting with the mobile salesperson. It combines emails with other important enterprise data to help them do their jobs."
  • Ryan Nichols, CEO & Co-Founder, Tylr Mobile: "The way we work on the go is broken -- every mobile app is a silo, and email is the biggest silo of them all.  Someone needs to bring all these silos together to help people get work done. That's what we're building here at Tylr Mobile."

DXWorldEXPO Digital Transformation Stories
In a recent survey, Sumo Logic surveyed 1,500 customers who employ cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). According to the survey, a quarter of the respondents have already deployed Docker containers and nearly as many (23 percent) are employing the AWS Lambda serverless computing framework. It's clear: serverless is here to stay. The adoption does come with some needed changes, within both application development and operations. Th...
Docker and Kubernetes are key elements of modern cloud native deployment automations. After building your microservices, common practice is to create docker images and create YAML files to automate the deployment with Docker and Kubernetes. Writing these YAMLs, Dockerfile descriptors are really painful and error prone.Ballerina is a new cloud-native programing language which understands the architecture around it - the compiler is environment aware of microservices directly deployable into infra...
When Enterprises started adopting Hadoop-based Big Data environments over the last ten years, they were mainly on-premise deployments. Organizations would spin up and manage large Hadoop clusters, where they would funnel exabytes or petabytes of unstructured data. However, over the last few years the economics of maintaining this enormous infrastructure compared with the elastic scalability of viable cloud options has changed this equation. The growth of cloud storage, cloud-managed big data e...

In an age of borderless networks, security for the cloud and security for the corporate network can no longer be separated. Security teams are now presented with the challenge of monitoring and controlling access to these cloud environments, at the same time that developers quickly spin up new cloud instances and executives push forwards new initiatives. The vulnerabilities created by migration to the cloud, such as misconfigurations and compromised credentials, require that security teams t...
