Polkast Makes the NETGEAR ReadyNAS Securely Accessible From Any Device, Anywhere

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/18/13 -- Polkast, a service that connects mobile devices, computers and storage drives, enabling fast and easy access to large media libraries via WiFi or remotely, today announced support for the NETGEAR® ReadyNAS® models, including the Duo v2 and NV+ v2. Priced at $5.99, the Polkast app is available for download in the NETGEAR genie®+ Marketplace.

NETGEAR ReadyNAS owners can now enjoy all of the content stored on their storage device from their iPad, iPhone, Android or Kindle Fire, in an easy-to-use interface that includes features for editing and sharing.

The ReadyNAS Duo v2 and NV+ v2 are always-on devices for centralized file storage and backup. Polkast provides the software for secure on-demand content access from mobile. No syncing is required, and users maintain control of their private files in their own private cloud.
