VIENNA, Va., March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroTech, a leading services provider and technology integrator, has added two new senior vice presidents to its leadership line-up of impressive tech-focused thought leaders: Lynn Wasylina, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Bill Collins, Senior Vice President of Product Solutions.
The new hires, MicroTech President & CEO, Tony Jimenez, said, will be integral to MicroTech as they work through the turbulent sequestration challenges involving federal spending cuts. Wasylina brings over 30 years of financial experience to MicroTech with a focus on managing multi-billion dollar companies, streamlining accounting policies, improving efficiency and transparency, and achieving double-digit growth. Before signing on with MicroTech as CFO, Wasylina worked as the Corporate Controller for PAE, a private government contractor. Prior to that, as the Director of Finance, Accounting, Policy & Governance at BAE Systems, she coordinated accounting issues and audits for the Electronic, Information, and Support Systems. Her previous CFO roles include PAC, an IT consulting and staffing business, and the Economic Development Corporation of Los Angeles County. Wasylina holds a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and is a certified public accountant. She oversees MicroTech's finance, accounting, treasury, tax, government compliance, risk management, and pricing functions for the company's more-than-$340 million in annual sales.
Collins has spent 25 years specializing in go-to-market strategies, business growth, channel and end-user sales, partner development, and management of field and inside sales. As the former VP of Sales at GTSI, he was responsible for building strategic partnerships with original equipment manufacturers and systems integrators, forecasting, operation and gate reviews, and earnings. At Hewlett Packard, Collins worked as the Field Sales Director for the Army, Navy, and Military Health Systems. He earned his Bachelors in Management from Radford University. Collins is leading MicroTech's major expansion of its Product Solutions Division.
