Marvell Co-Founder Weili Dai Honored with Entrepreneur of the Year Award By the Chinese Institute of Engineers

One of the most prestigious and long-established Chinese-American engineering associations recognizes Ms. Dai for her professional achievements in business, science and technology

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced that its Co-Founder Weili Dai has been honored with the Silicon Valley Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Established Corporation category by the Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA-San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (CIE/USA-SF), a non-profit, non-political organization with the purpose of serving the local engineering community, in recognition of her exemplary professional achievements in business, science and technology. San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee presented the award to Ms. Dai at the CIE/USA-SF 2013 Annual Conference held on March 9th at the Marriott Hotel San Francisco.

The objective of CIE/USA is to promote communication and the interchange of information among engineers and scientists in the various fields of engineering science who are interested in the wellbeing of the Chinese engineering community in the United States and abroad. It has seven chapters in the United States, including the San Francisco Bay Area chapter.
