With the cinemizer OLED, realtors can provide a new level of service to their customers. Designed to make home buying more enjoyable and less time intensive, the system allows agents to show purchasers immersive home video tours anywhere, anyplace and at any time on a virtual 40" big screen HDTV. With 2D and 3D capabilities, the cinemizer OLED immerses the viewer into the home tour, without the time-intensive process of driving from property to property.

"We're always looking for the latest in technology to help sell homes," said Kevin Higgins, realtor with Real Estate One. "The opportunity to walk through a home in a 3D video tour is incredible; statistics show that home buyers love pictures and existing video tours—they'll eat it up in 3D. This technology will bring radical change to how homes are bought and sold."

With a high-contrast display, lightweight design for easy set-up and positioning, and personalized diopter settings to adjust focus individually for each user, the cinemizer OLED is the most affordable, high-quality set of immersive video glasses of its type on the market. Realtors are able to access home tours from an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. The glasses also can be easily connected to a PC, Mac, or handheld touch device via Wi-Fi.

"We took the unique needs of the real estate industry into account when working with partners on an industry solution," said Dave Hodgson, principal of Total 3D Solutions. "The cinemizer OLED provides a whole new opportunity for realtors and brokers. Not only will realtors be able to more easily expand the offerings of real estate shown to potential buyers, but brokers can use the technology to recruit and hire new agents at their companies."

The cinemizer OLED is made available through Total 3D Solutions growing network of partners. Kits can be developed that include an Apple connector kit and an optional fourth-generation iPod Touch device for playing digital video. Packages can also be developed to provide the glasses with a charger, carrying and storage case, in-office promotional materials and staff training.  Total 3D Solutions offers full service and support to dealers and customers in North America. Data-intensive companies that strive to gain insights from data using Big Data analytics tools can gain tremendous competitive advantage by deploying data-centric storage. Organizations generate large volumes of data, the vast majority of which is unstructured. As the volume and velocity of this unstructured data increases, the costs, risks and usability challenges associated with managing the unstructured data (regardless of file type, size or device) increases simultaneously, including end-to-...
Cloud services are the newest tool in the arsenal of IT products in the market today. These cloud services integrate process and tools. In order to use these products effectively, organizations must have a good understanding of themselves and their business requirements. In his session at 15th Cloud Expo, Brian Lewis, Principal Architect at Verizon Cloud, outlined key areas of organizational focus, and how to formalize an actionable plan when migrating applications and internal services to the ...
Operational Hadoop and the Lambda Architecture for Streaming Data Apache Hadoop is emerging as a distributed platform for handling large and fast incoming streams of data. Predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization, and Internet-of-Things analysis are examples where Hadoop provides the scalable storage, processing, and analytics platform to gain meaningful insights from granular data that is typically only valuable from a large-scale, aggregate view. The explosion of connected devices / sensors is creating an ever-expanding set of new and valuable data. In parallel the emerging capability of Big Data technologies to store, access, analyze, and react to this data is producing changes in business models under the umbrella of the Internet of Things (IoT). In particular within the Insurance industry, IoT appears positioned to enable deep changes by altering relationships between insurers, distributors, and the insured. In his session at @Things...
Big Data is amazing, it's life changing and yes it is changing how we see our world. Big Data, however, can sometimes be too big. Organizations that are not amassing massive amounts of information and feeding into their decision buckets, smaller data that feeds in from customer buying patterns, buying decisions and buying influences can be more useful when used in the right way. In their session at Big Data Expo, Ermanno Bonifazi, CEO & Founder of Solgenia, and Ian Khan, Global Strategic Positi...
More organizations are embracing DevOps to realize compelling business benefits such as more frequent feature releases, increased application stability, and more productive resource utilization. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Don DeLoach, CEO and president of Infobright, will discuss how companies need to rethink their data infrastructure to participate in the IoT, including: Data storage: Understand...
The truth is, today’s databases are anything but agile – they are effectively static repositories that are cumbersome to work with, difficult to change, and cannot keep pace with application demands. Performance suffers as a result, and it takes far longer than it should to deliver new features and capabilities needed to make your organization competitive. As your application and business needs change, data repositories and structures get outmoded rapidly, resulting in increased work for applica...
The Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS) market will grow to $6.4B by 2018. In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Seth Bostock, CEO of IndependenceIT, will begin by walking the audience through the evolution of Workspace as-a-Service, where it is now vs. where it going. With the arrival of the Big Data revolution, a data professional is expected to master a broad spectrum of complex domains including data processing, mathematics, programming languages, machine learning techniques, and business knowledge. While this mastery is undoubtedly important, this narrow focus on tool usage has divorced many from the imagination required to solve real-world problems. As the demand for analysis increases, the data science community must transform from tool experts to "data...
Thanks to Docker, it becomes very easy to leverage containers to build, ship, and run any Linux application on any kind of infrastructure. Docker is particularly helpful for microservice architectures because their successful implementation relies on a fast, efficient deployment mechanism – which is precisely one of the features of Docker. Microservice architectures are therefore becoming more popular, and are increasingly seen as an interesting option even for smaller projects, instead of bein...
DevOps tends to focus on the relationship between Dev and Ops, putting an emphasis on the ops and application infrastructure. But that’s changing with microservices architectures. In her session at DevOps Summit, Lori MacVittie, Evangelist for F5 Networks, will focus on how microservices are changing the underlying architectures needed to scale, secure and deliver applications based on highly distributed (micro) services and why that means an expansion into “the network” for DevOps.
