Skyscape Cloud Services demonstrates continued success and innovation with EMC

Joins EMC Velocity Service Provider Program

London - January 10th 2013 - Skyscape Cloud Services Limited, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to leave Assured Cloud Services Company, today announced a further expansion of its relationship with EMC by joining the EMC Velocity™ Service Provider Program. By joining the program, Skyscape will now work closer with EMC to develop new cloud-based service offerings for the UK Public Sector.

"The EMC Velocity Service Provider program enables us to continue to evolve our assured offerings and transform the provision of IT services into a lean, elastic, assured, green utility. We look forward to embracing this program as we strive to develop innovative solutions that allow our customers to store, manage, protect and analyse data in a more agile, trusted and cost-efficient way." said Jeremy Sanders, Chief Strategy Officer at Skyscape.

The Velocity Service Provider Program helps EMC serve customers seeking the most optimum cloud services available by strengthening partnerships with differentiated, innovative and successful providers like Skyscape. Membership of the program means Skyscape can now offer access to an expanded portfolio of EMC's products and services. This expanded portfolio, coupled with the further training and certification received by Skyscape, means it can offer enhanced services and, therefore, increased value to its customers.

In the G-Cloud Cloudstore, Skyscape currently has a total of 17 Infrastructure and Software as a Service (IaaS and SaaS) catalogue entries, each available at different service levels and suitable for differing Impact Levels. These include a full catalogue of storage services (archive, backup, personal, etc.) based upon EMC Atmos and EMC Isilon technologies. Skyscape also offers numerous case and document management, digital evidence and patient record solutions utilising EMC Documentum software.

"EMC remains squarely focused on delivering technology solutions to our customers in partnership with the world's leading service providers like Skyscape Cloud Services. We look forward to working with Skyscape to deliver a range of trusted cloud services, with an initial focus on Public Sector cloud services, a key industry segment that will allow our mutual customers to choose the right source for every IT workload," said Mauro Bonfanti, director, EMEA service provider business, EMC Corporation.
