Cabela’s Chooses Revionics’ Price and Markdown Optimization Solutions

Revionics, Inc., the leading provider of End-to-End Merchandise Optimization solutions, announced today that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Cabela’s Incorporated, a leading specialty retailer and the world's largest direct marketer of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise, for life cycle price optimization solutions. Cabela’s® will deploy Revionics® Price Optimization for base price management and optimization and Revionics® Markdown Optimization to maximize margins and sell-through.

Revionics’ solutions incorporates the industry’s best-of-breed predictive analytics and demand-based science, which will enable Cabela’s to accurately evaluate and forecast consumer shopping behavior across all touch points and channels to offer the right price and markdowns to customers for optimal customer loyalty and competitiveness. In addition, these solutions will enhance and align Cabela’s price strategies with their category and corporate financial goals and enable them to localize markdowns to adapt to market conditions, inventory levels and shopper preferences.
